THIS ISN’T YOUR
AVERAGE SEED

Chia is good for you!

Chia is good for you! This tiny seed is packed with nutrients to power your brain and your body just as it fueled empires in ancient times…

Calci-YUM

Not only do your heart, muscles and nerves need calcium to function properly, but it’s also necessary to build and sustain strong bones. The Epic Seed’s got you covered with as much calcium as a cup of milk!

Not 2, but 3 Omegas!

When it comes to fats, this is one to keep in your diet! Not only does your body need Omega-3s to function, but these fatty acids also deliver some EPIC health benefits. We’re proud to say that The Epic Seed has a whopping amount of these powerful omegas!

So many nutrients!

The Epic Seed is packed with a potent punch of vital nutrients: potassium, iron and magnesium. Potassium is necessary for heart and brain health. Magnesium is required for the proper growth, maintenance, and function of your bones, nerves, muscles, and many other parts of your body. And last but certainly not least, iron is vital to the body’s growth, development, and normal cellular functioning. This cup’s got it all!

So much fiber!

Fiber is vital to a healthy breakfast but most yogurts don’t even include it — we stay EPIC with more than an apple’s worth in every cup! Why? Fiber helps us feel full for longer on fewer calories, which prevents unhealthy overeating and consequent weight gain. But that’s not all! Fiber is also believed to help lower cholesterol, control blood sugar levels and aid in achieving a healthy weight.

Antioxi-dance!

Antioxidants are mostly in fruits and veggies and may prevent or delay some types of cell damage. This kind of damage is believed to play a part in a variety of diseases including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s. We try to steer clear of all this damage with plenty of antioxidants in every cup!

So much protein!

We need protein with every meal to feel full and build lean muscles; between the supremely thick greek yogurt and large portion of chia, this epic cup’s got that covered!

Super Popeye

The Epic Seed doesn’t just deliver protein, it packs a powerful punch, making it the ideal snack both pre and post workout to fuel and repair your muscles!

I’ve seen these before, but what do these things mean?

Gluten is a protein composite found in wheat (including kamut and spelt), barley, rye and triticale. We’re aware of the allergies and food sensitivities related to this protein composite. The Epic Seed is 100% gluten free, so you can feel EPIC after every cup!

According to the USDA, Grass-fed cows have a diet that comes solely from forage containing grass, forbs, browse, or cereal grain crops in the vegetative state. These animals cannot be fed grain or grain byproducts. They also must have ongoing access to pasture during the growing season. We source all of our milk exclusively from family-owned farms in Chenango County, New York where the cows are strictly grass fed and have names, not numbers! Yes, these cows Got Milk but they also got real food, and we’re pretty happy about that.

GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are plants or animals created through genetic engineering in which DNA from different species is joined. The results are unstable combinations of plant, animal, viral and bacterial genes that are not found or produced in nature. While many companies don’t mind serving up genetically modified organisms, we prefer to give you, well, REAL food…

Probiotics are living organisms such as bacteria and yeast that are believed to be beneficial to our health. Bacteria gets a bad rap, but our digestive systems are naturally teeming with more than 500 different types of it! These live and active cultures are vital to helping us digest food and maintain healthy guts. Luckily for us, our greek yogurt is full of this supremely healthy bacteria — and we say YES, not yuck to that!

rbGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone) is a genetically engineered hormone that some U.S. dairy farms inject into their cows to increase milk production. Most of these products are not labeled as containing the hormone. In cows treated with rbGH, significant health problems are known to develop. We’d really rather not re-visit puberty, so we kick these nasty hormones to the curb with entirely rbGH and hormone-free milk!
